Community Block Party at Northwoods Fine Arts Academy
Tuesday April 29th, 2014, ATRC participated in the the Community Block Party hosted by the Tulsa Health Department’s Pathways to Health (P2H)at Northwoods Fine Arts Academy. We also had the pleasure to take four-legged therapists Patsy and Tobi along with us. It was so much fun!
“The idea for the block parties came from the Community Health Improvement Plan, released in 2013, which sets goals to improve the health of Tulsa County residents in six priority areas identified by community residents – poor diet and inactivity, obesity, alcohol and drug abuse, chronic disease, access to healthcare, and tobacco use.” Tulsa Health Department
Many thanks to Tulsa Health Department’s Pathways to Health (P2H) and Northwoods Fine Arts Academy for putting this great event together!
On Sunday July the 7th, 2013, Jeanie Eaton (onetulsa.com) and Mike Spivey (spiveyphoto.com) hosted a photography clinic at the Broken Arrow Round Up in Coweta and generously donated ALL funds collected from this paid event to benefit ATRC!
Our marketing team, Danielle and Tiffanie, was there and also gained useful tips which will enhance photography for our riding program! Thank you so much to Jeanie, Mike and everyone who donated to attend the clinic!
