Volunteering at ATRC is a life changing experience for both the volunteer and the rider. Therapeutic riding is a great cause and an amazing area to volunteer in. Therapeutic riding uses equine oriented activities for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with different challenges.Volunteering at ATRC provides individuals and groups oppotunities to work in the barn, in the arena, as well as in the office. Our volunteers learn and improve skills such as communication, socialization, strength, endurance, concentration, creativity, rigour, etc. Read more about volunteer benefits here.
